A few years ago my family and I had a Carbon Monoxide scare in our home. Our attic fan was on while the furnace was on and it sucked in all the fumes from the chimney. Luckliy we had the carbon monoxide alarms which woke us up and saved our lives.

The CBS Morning show ran a story on 2 families. The first story is a very sad one where two little boys died of carbon monoxide gas.

The second story is my family which is the happy one thanks to the carbon monoxide detectors. You will see my wife and I talking about our frightening experience.

REMEMBER TO HAVE CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS IN YOUR HOUSE AND YOUR RENTAL PROPERTY!!!!! They save Lives!!
And make sure you change the batteries once a year or get the plug in kind.
